I am overwhelmed with joy, sorrow and awe, for I have not seen their faces in 30+ years. As tears stream down my 'PLOTKIN' face, I am reminded of how important family is. EDITH WHERE ARE YOU NOW? I have my Minolta x-370 poised and ready to have you grace its eternal eye. R.I.P. MORRIS. Much Moved, Maureen
My husband's aunt was great friends with Edith and Morris, and often assisted them in their NYC studio. She remembers them fondly, and loves that you are paying tribute to the Jaffe's wonderfully colorful and diverse portfolio of travel photography. The Jaffe Studio also shot ad campaigns for companies like Clairol.

my early years of photographing - had me and my family photographed by Mr. Morris Jaffe - and then when I began photographing at age 8 my dad would take my early negatives to him to have them developed - Edith and Morris were family friends and his shop was on my dad's beat - 6th Precinct in the Village - and they even had me over when I began my business as a photographer for me to show them my first assignments -
Hi, I am from Italy and I am looking for any relatives of Morris and Edith Jaffe. It was told me that a photography of my grandma Antonietta (shot in Colliano, Salerno, when they came to Italy about 50 years ago, hosted by my granduncle Alfonso Sica), has been exposed in Grand Central station NYC for an exhibition. I would like to see that picture, if possible. Is there anybody I could talk to, in order to get that photograph? Any relative, nephew. Thank you in advance, Pasquale De Vita pasquale.devita@gmail.com
I would like to get in touch with the Morris Jaffe estate to get permission to use a photograph that Morris Jaffe took. Can someone point me in the right direction? What are Morris Jaffe's dates? Thank you for any help you can give me.
